| Well, I finally finished my violin kit from Stewmac. Doesn't sound too bad. Better than a cheap chinese. The next one I will try to graduate the top and back. Yes I am hooked. Thanks all for the info on finishes. I acually used oil based varnish from the hardware store after first sealing the wood with shellac. It ran a bit until I thinned it. The next one will get sprayed. |
