Yes indeed; there is a wealth of great knowledge within this group and it's very much appreciated.

I did thin the varnish a bit. I didn't think I put it on too heavy but just enough to cover the area with just 1 pass (didn't want to bush over too much). The coat is even (no drips in each coat). When I was brushing it on, the colorant wasn't evenly applying with the varnish ie. where I started brushing, the colorant was more concentrated. And it appeared that the varnish & color mixture was evenly mixed. Maybe the colorant is too heavy or too much and I should be using less colorant.
Less is more... rewind & repeat....
