after you cut the ff holes do you leave the edges sharp on the inside and outside, or lightly smooth them. in some places its a little fuzzy with fibers.

tiny splinters on the inside , I think when going around the curve the ends of the grain tiny end splinters I guess. I went over it with riffle files and it took care of it.
but still wondering if you lightly sand or touch up the sharp edge to keep from and edge breaking off?

I cut my f-holes while the top is still a bit thick, which gives me room to move the arching around so that the fs sit well on the top. This involves planing and scraping both inside and outside, so the type of thing you're talking about gets removed that way.

If you sand, you need to be careful not to round the corner at the edge of the f-hole unless you're making antiques.
