Manfio, I really like your scroll on this one! Also it looks like you're migrating the color of your varnish to a more neutral less red color, any reason for that or just needing to change or do my eyes deceive me? Either way the instruments are always looking wonderful!

Thanks Mikes! Well, colours will change a bit (or a lot!) from instrument to instrument. This is a cinamon colour we see in many old instruments.

But the next one may be different, as Oscar Wilde liked to say: "consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative."

Just had to tell you how much I enjoy seeing each new instrument that you make. It is very inspiring. I'm about to begin my second violin and your work really spurs me on to do better!

You've been an inspiration for me, you truly have. Some time back you said that one could be an exceptional violin maker without formal training, its been done before. Thank you for that advise and everything else you do.
