Does anyone out there know why Stefano Scarampella moved to Mantova? I was told that it was for a woman. Her family was from there. He met her while working on the tram (Brescia to Mantova)
I have wonderd as Scarampellas turn up from time to time with a Brescia label dated after 1902. I also see labels from the late 1890s with Mantova labels. I then wander if he just stayed at his brothers in the winter, and enjoyed Mantua in the Summer. I do not think that all are fakes, are they?
