| The person you gave me the fiddle that I put back together wants me to reglue the finger board on his 3/4. When I'm done, what should the string height be. An do I tune it to the same pitch as a full size? |

I would assume that the string height is the same for an adult as for a child. I measured my daughters 3/4 and there is 4.7mm clearance under the G and 3.8 mm under the E.

In Michael Atria's book " Violin Repair Guide", He gives for a 3/4 violin,
a string length of 307MMs. With the G string height 5MMs, and the E string
3MMs. |
