This violin was made in 1895 in Richmond Indiana by A.B. Clark. It is in very good condition. It is in a "bare" state right now, requiring a top nut, tail gut, gluing of small crack near f-hole and a set up. Reputable luthiers here in NYC have estimated repairs to be $150-$250 including strings and set up. Verbal appraisal ranges from 5,000 to 7,000.
The value was a surprise to me, so a written appraisal is the next step.
