I have a violin i recently acquired. The tag on the inside says


E.E. Greer, Maker.
Independence, Kansas
Oct. 1931, Number 29


I can't find anything about it, or the company. The only thing about Greer that I can find are just people/lineage trees....

Does anyone know anything?

I suggest you post this on the violin makers section of the forum as this is where most of the activity is and where some experts may be able to help you with this.
