i know the figures from my 1st violin is bit big.
does it mean it is absolutely unacceptable?

It qualifies as a VSO (Violin Shaped Object), but it is outside the parameters of a 4/4 sized violin, and so it is not a 4/4 violin.

Maybe it will qualify as a 3/4 viola?

my 1st violin, not yet finished
scroll and neck ready
top almost ready pending final graduation
back almost ready pending final graduation and correcting edge
planning ribs

wrong order of work? Embarassed

a question, is a violin really symmetric (bass side and treble side) ?
i ask this as i am doing the final graduation on both top and back

2nd question, is it really necessary to make it perfect smooth for all surfaces? after using scraper , surfaces of both top and back plates still not perfect smooth,
for scroll and neck, i sanded it in the last stage
