Hi All,

From today on anyone who wishes to register will have to be activated by an administrator. In this way we should be able to keep the board free of unwanted posts.

Any feedback regarding this change is welcome.

P.S. Sep. 30/09: IMPORTANT If you want quick entry to the forum, send an email to me at violins@violins.ca with your user name in the subject line and a quick message to let me know that you are serious about violins. This will also save me some work! Occasionally it takes me 1-2 weeks to comb through submissions, collect email addresses and send a validation request. Thanks!

Considering the sort of material that has been posted here (and quickly removed) I would say it is essential if the board is going to be a safe place for all.

Leif, I agree... keeping the forum clean and on topic is essential. If anyone minds the registration, they probably are too ???? to contribute in a meaningful way.
You have done a great job so far... I can't get to bed without checking out this site first! (not that it puts me to sleep!)
