| I had to rewrite the music competition name as it changed in 2010 . 3 young finalists .2 pianists and one violinist from Ukraine . All played a concerto each . All the music was Russian . |

Sorry for a late answer . The final came and went so fast I almost missed it .
The full competition (seven episodes) is on BBC iPlayer.
Look for. ; "BBC Young Musician ". Available for Eleven months . The music was good.The interviews afterwards are best avoided. They can drain the life out of any concert . Interviews seem to turn a concert into a Rubic Cube Contest .
I watched a Violin Competition from Poland once by satellite tv which happens once every 5 years .A major musical event but these get little publicity . I just happened to be lucky that day. It was all spoken in Polish so if you like most words to end in Ski Go you would be at home there . |
