What a hoot!
I guess anyone **can** rehair a bow. But... do it well the first time? Or the 10th time? I thought the most humorous item in this article was the suggestion to find good horsehair at the local druggist. I'll have to ask the next time I'm picking up a prescription. Other than suggesting that we should glue the hair into the mortise, these rehairing instructions actually aren't too bad. Well, pretty bad. Just think of the thousands of bows that were rehaired with these instructions. Actually, I think I've seen some of them.
And on page 25, I see that I can become an expert cellist without the need for a teacher, and in only a few months! I've wasted so much time and money already!
