Thanks much for the compliments, very kind!
This one is modeled after the 1721 Stradivari Kruse. Engelman spruce front with slab cut red maple back. I am pleased with the way this one came out and it has good tone and a bit more punch than a previous instument on this same mold, so that's good. Sorry that the photos aren't better.

That is very pretty work.
The red maple is so nicely dark already it doesn't need much fire in the varnish to end up with a good density to the color.
